Shipping policy
FREE SHIPPING
Free shipping will be applied at Checkout to each of your recipients over $99.00 per individual address after any applicable discounts or promotions and before applicable taxes or additional shipping related charges. The following terms apply to Free Shipping:
- Free Shipping is applicable to Standard shipping only.
- Only applicable to orders shipping to destinations within Canada and the US, excluding NU, NT, YK, Hawaii, Alaska, and select areas.
SHIPPING POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- All rates and pricing are stated in Canadian dollars.
- Order amounts exclude applicable taxes and shipping, which will be calculated and applied at Checkout.
- All delivery rates and taxes are based on and applied to each individual shipping location, sometimes referred to as the recipient in this section.
- For orders being shipped to rural or remote areas additional charges and longer delivery times may apply. Any additional charges will be applied at checkout where applicable.
- Delivery times apply to business days only - weekends and holidays are not included.
- ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates will attempt to prepare and ship your order within a 24 - 72 hour timeframe from the moment your order is received. However, it is possible due to circumstances beyond our control, that we exceed such timeframe. Orders are processed Monday through Friday from 11am-5pm (Atlantic Time), with the exception of Canadian statutory holidays.
- All orders are shipped in approximately 3 business days from our factory located in Charlottetown, PEI.
- Rates and shipping policies are subject to change without notice. While all efforts are made to ensure the accuracy of our webstore rates and pricing ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates reserves the right to contact customers in the event of an error or mistake. The customer will be advised of the issues for correction and the impact for collection or refund of any applicable amounts.
- Chocolate is a heat-sensitive product. When choosing a shipping destination, please ensure your chocolates will not have prolonged exposure to heat or sun.
SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA
- Shipping rates are applied to each shipment to a single address and are applied during order Checkout.
- Standard rates will apply to orders initially but the customer does have the ability to select any alternate shipping rate options from the shipping drop down menus.
- The delivery times disclosed above are an estimate and are for informational purposes.
- ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates works closely with our courier network to attempt to achieve deliveries that are on or before any future dated shipping dates but we cannot guarantee the delivery date, please ensure you consider this fact in any time sensitive orders.
SHIPPING TO USA
- Shipping rates are applied to each shipment to a single address and are applied during order Checkout.
- Standard rates will apply to orders initially but the customer does have the ability to select any alternate shipping rate options from the shipping drop down menus.
- The delivery times disclosed above are an estimate and are for informational purposes.
- ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates works closely with our courier network to attempt to achieve deliveries that are on or before any future dated shipping dates but we cannot guarantee the delivery date, please ensure you consider this fact in any time sensitive orders.
- ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates ships most orders to the USA via Canada Post or UPS.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Upon the completion of your order an Order Confirmation will be emailed to you detailing your purchases and applicable charges for future reference. Orders being sent to more than one recipient will be grouped by the delivery addresses. Please take this opportunity to ensure your order is correct.
- On the day your order ships and leaves our warehouse you will receive another email confirmation with tracking information unless the shipping method is ground shipping within Atlantic Provinces, QC or ON - no tracking number will be provided. All Canada Post orders will have a tracking number.
- The tracking information, if supplied, can be used to monitor the status of your shipment while in transit through the courier’s website.
- If your order is shipping to multiple recipients, you will receive an individual email and tracking number for each recipient shipment.
- Please retain your emails for future reference or contact us at support@annechocolates.com should you need us to resend your tracking email.
RETURNED ORDERS
Orders which are refused, unable to be delivered, or not collected from the couriers may be returned to us by the couriers. In this event the customer will be contacted and orders can be resent to recipients at an additional shipping charge.
PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS AND FREE SHIPPING
Periodically ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates will offer Promotional campaigns related to the webstore operations. The following terms apply:
- These campaigns have no refund or cash surrender value.
- ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates reserves the right to cancel any or all Promotional campaigns without notice as well as change the terms related to any or all Promotional campaigns.
- In the event that a promotional item/gift is not available ANNE of Green Gables Chocolates reserves the right to replace the item/gift with an alternate item of their choosing.
CANCELLATIONS
We are unable to accept order changes or cancellations after your order has been
